When researching something else entirely :) I found this list on mindat.org
it is for the top 50 crystal/mineral localities.

I hope it helps!

I am sure there was a lot of trial and error applications as well. Many times, the metaphysical properties are channeled by those who are working with the crystals. For instance, I have actually "communicated" with some of my crystals to see what information would present itself. I believe anyone can do this.

Hello :)

I found some articles that may be helpful. Here is one on the history of crystal healing. http://www.rebel-angel.co.uk/acatalog/Crystal_History.html

Here is another article that talks about Crystal Healing.

As far as how the metaphysical properties were first known and what are the sources--there are many written accounts though out history on how crystals were utilized. I am sure there was a lot of trial and error applications as well. Many times, the metaphysical properties are channeled by those who are working with the crystals. Hi!,
I'm very new in crystal matters...
I've read many spiritual propierties of crystal and stones, and I wonder...

...¿how these propierties were known? ¿what are the sources of the knowledge?

...¿where can I find information about "prooving or finding spiritual propierties of crystals"?

I appretiate any help you may provide...

Best regards,
José

I know this is not much help, but if you could be more specific that would definitely be helpful.

Hello,

I am a graphic design art student doing a big project on crystallization. Right now, I'm creating infographics for this natural phenomenon. I have a few questions in order to do this.

1.) Among the continents, where are crystals the most common? Commonly found and least found. If you could arrange ALL the continents starting from most to least.

Hopefully you can help me out?
Thanks!

Thanks for letting us know. I've fixed the error and you should be able to upload pictures just fine now. :-)

Shawn

Hallo there

Good to find you on the Wiki network :)

I am really looking forward to adding some photos, but
am experiencing exactly the same problem as 'Spiral' :

" ... I haven't been able to locate any Upload links when
I'm in the photo gallery, even after following the 'add
your photos' article... The actions column in the gallery
only shows a 'List' icon. The blue bar tabs under Browsing
Gallery only shows 1 blue bat named: 'List Galleries'.. "

Looking forward to helping out.
Many Blessings
Lol

I've checked the photo gallery today and the upload image tab is now showing next to the list galleries tab. Thank You!

I'm able to add gemstone/mineral photos of most of what I currently have. I have been giving crystals a home since 1986.

I was going to upload a couple of photos today, but I haven't been able to locate any upload links when I'm in the photo gallery, even after following the 'add your photos' article. I'll have another look once I've posted here incase I've missed it somehow.

Wishing you all a great day!

Love & Blessings,
T

Edit:

Confirming that I'm unable to see an upload link.
The actions column in the gallery only shows a list icon.
The blue bar tabs under Browsing Gallery only shows 'List Galleries'.

  • + : A leading plus sign indicates that this word must be present in every object returned.
  • - : A leading minus sign indicates that this word must not be present in any row returned.
  • By default (when neither plus nor minus is specified) the word is optional, but the object that contain it will be rated higher.
  • < > : These two operators are used to change a word's contribution to the relevance value that is assigned to a row.
  • ( ) : Parentheses are used to group words into subexpressions.
  • ~ : A leading tilde acts as a negation operator, causing the word's contribution to the object relevance to be negative. It's useful for marking noise words. An object that contains such a word will be rated lower than others, but will not be excluded altogether, as it would be with the - operator.
  • * : An asterisk is the truncation operator. Unlike the other operators, it should be appended to the word, not prepended.
  • " : The phrase, that is enclosed in double quotes ", matches only objects that contain this phrase literally, as it was typed.
